*Weekday Afternoons 3-7P*

There’s no place like home! I was born and raised on the east side of Grand Rapids in the Cascade/Ada area. My mom was a teacher at Thornapple Elementary for over 30 years, don’t worry she’s just retired lol. While my dad has spent most of his career working in the automotive industry.

They used to tell me “you’ll never work a day in your life if you like what you do” and boy were they right. I’ve been working in broadcasting for over a decade now, but it all started at Forest Hills Central High School. I can’t thank Ann Layton enough for inviting me to join her FX class where we essentially ran a TV news station. Needless to say I was immediately bit by the broadcasting bug. After a year at GRCC, I transferred to Oakland University and eventually graduated in 2015. Since then I’ve worked in Detroit, Port Huron, Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Battle Creek and most recently Kalamazoo.

While my career means a lot to me, I’m also a devoted husband, and recently became a first time dad. My son Oliver was born back on April 19th. We also have a tuxedo cat named Winston. I met my wonderful wife Gabriella in college while we were both interning at the same radio station in Detroit. As irony would have it, I would later become her boss after we started dating. While we were supposed to get married in 2020, the world had other plans. We eventually tied the knot in June of 2021.

While I’m not working or being a dad and husband, I enjoy sports, music, traveling, thrifting, and spending time in the great outdoors. I think that about covers it, thanks for listening!
